Kuku is a traditional rhythm from the southern part of Guinea (Forest Guinea) & Côte d’Ivorie (Ivory Coast), home to the Manian & Koyaka ethnic groups. Originally it was played when the women of the village returned from fishing, but today it is played at celebrations of all types.
